.STRESS, PERSERVERENCE, SEPERATION, STRENGTH are only a few words I grasp from this photo.I believe it is an amazing photo that tells the story of a man, separating himself from the hate, adversity, and ignorance that lives among us. One of the best photos taken of Barack, showing (to me) the feelings Barack is going through at this moment in the Election. He’s been tried, tested, and pushed, to come out of his genuinely charismatic character, but has remained strong through it all, with a big smile and a wave. I believe this Election is opening the doors to how AMERICA really is, or views African Americans. We thought we’ve made great strides from our unforgettable past, but yet in still, the rise of a Black man shakes the ‘norm’ in life and frightens the thought of a ‘BLACK AMERICA’. First America isn’t a color, but a place where dreams, “AMERICAN DREAMS” can be fulfilled. The ‘Land of Opportunity’, but for who exactly? Running for the presidency this year is one of the brightest, intelligent men in politics, bringing a breath of fresh air to how America should be run and viewed domestically and internationally. This election has become one of the ugliest, and most ignorant elections I’ve watched; and realizing that race is still a factor; upsets and disappoints me about this country. I’d love to say my country, but at times it doesn’t feel that way. All I can say is Barack Obama is a living example of what the future of black men and leaders in this country should learn from. HUMBLE, but confident in more ways then one. CHARISMATIC, but stern when needed. and STRONG, through times of trials and tribulations. NEVER LETTING UP!
