.so while in Paris, I visited ‘The Louvre’ Museum and checked out the Mona Lisa. Below is the pic. Yeah I know, not that special. I don’t know what the hype is about the painting, and when I got there I was even more disappointed because it wasn’t that big. If it was huge, then I could be like WOW. Plus it’s not like she’s attractive. hahaha, I mean if she was attractive I could say why people would be taken by the painting, but honestly it’s not that serious. I was more impressed by the Museum itself. It was massive. It would probably take about two days to go through the whole thing, and the rooms were gigantic as you can see below. It was once a royal palace which is mind boggling because I don’t know how someone could live in such a massive structure. It amazes me because if this Museum has all of the art that it has in there, then what about the rest of the museums in the world? Is all of there artifacts and paintings fake? (i know, there’s so much history and so much art work in our history it can’t be in one place) TRUE, but I had to ask because I was blown away by what I was seeing. The most impressive paintings to me were the gigantic wall paintings that took up majority of the walls, i mean we’re talking 50ft walls, no joke. And for artist to paint to scale that large is impressive. Also the details on the ceilings were impressive as well. So if you go to Paris, check the museum out. I still have a half of it to cover.
